Somali Poverty Relief (SPR) is a human organisation. Whatever your colour, religion or nationality, you can be part of SPR. You can join the trustees of SPR which is elected every five years, you can represent SPR in your country, you can help us with your time or you can join our network of fund raisers. To get involved in this worthy cause, please contact us.

Fundraising

You can help us by raising funds. You can do fund raising by:

1. Organising a house party and inviting your friends to donate.
2. You can do street collections. Possible venues could be at train stations, super markets, shopping malls and at football matches.
3. A fair, exhibition or car boot sale is also a good idea to raise funds.
4. Sponsored events are also a good way to raise funds.
5. You can arrange Annual award or charity dinners to raise some funds.
6. Ask your teacher if your class can have a charity non-uniform day and ask everyone to pay £1 to wear their own clothes.

 

Donate

Please donate whatever you can afford to donate. It could be as little as £1.
Your £1 can give food to someone starving.
